Accessibility Policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026
1. Our approach
NCAT LLC ("we", "us") works to make our website and applications usable by as many people as possible, whatever their age, physical situation or browsing environment.
2. Scope
This policy applies to every page under our website at https://www.ncat.co.jp.
3. The standard we work towards
We use JIS X 8341-3:2016 and level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 as our reference points, and are improving against them in stages. We do not at this time claim conformance with either standard.
4. What we already do
- Images that convey information carry alternative text describing their content. Purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Headings are marked up in a correct hierarchy so that the structure of each page is conveyed to assistive technology.
- Every page declares its language, so that screen readers pronounce it correctly.
- All body text remains readable with JavaScript disabled.
- Where the operating system's "reduce motion" setting is enabled, decorative animation is switched off.
- The layout adapts to the width of the screen, so pages can be read without horizontal scrolling from phones up to large displays.
- Our contact form does not use an image CAPTCHA.
5. Known issues
We are working on the following on an ongoing basis.
- Reviewing places where decorative colour choices leave insufficient contrast between text and background
- Making focus indicators clearer for keyboard-only navigation
- Support for screen readers and text size settings within our applications
6. Telling us about a problem
If you have difficulty using this site or our applications, please let us know through the contact form on our support page. We will do what we reasonably can to put it right.
